Gravoply is a flexible, blended acrylic extruded sheet with cap and core permanently fixed. Gravoply engraves beautifully. It wears well and is available in an extremely wide range of colours - more than any other product on the market. It can be used in many applications including key rings, badges, signs and notices. Gravoply features a lustrous satin finish and because of its selection of deep rich colours, engraving of special colour combinations can be created - producing attractive, easy to read lettering.

Special Characteristics
Gravoply is easy to work with. The consistent thickness of both the cap and core layers, makes it extremely easy to produce high quality engraving. It can be sheared in thicknesses of up to 1/16" And for absolute accuracy we recommend saw cutting of thicker sheets. Gravoply is also excellent for hot stamping and die cutting.

Materials Specification

  • Indoor use only.
  • Strength-self supporting in moderate sizes.
  • Best break resistance.
  • Temperature tolerance - up to 140° F.
  • Care - Mildest washing liquid. For removal of tar grease or paint use mild solvents.
  • Expansion and contraction - an 8" sign can change as much as 1/16" in length in extreme temperature changes. Drill oversize holes for mounting to allow for expansion and contraction.
  • Working - shear, saw, cut, drill, hot stamp, die cut, bend, bevel bond or cement.
